Fall Convocation

Fall convocation is a super old tradition at Vassar which signifies the start of the freshmen class's first year, and the seniors' last year. We gathered in the chapel around 3:20 to hear singing as well as speeches. The downside of the situation was how unreasonably hot it was outside and in, I felt lucky not to be a professor/senior wearing a black graduation robe.

We then took the class of 2014 picture (kind of tortuous) and I sat next to the only other person from Alaska, the world is so small!

The (bad quality) pictures that I have attached are of the inside of the chapel, a truly beautiful place with the biggest organ I have ever seen (pictures of the organ to come...)

  2. What a beautiful place! Did you know the girl from Alaska? Yes it is a small world after all. Or is that just a song? You are so busy and still find time to keep family and friends up to date. Thanks.
