Cupcake Party

Yesterday, I got a message from the Vassar postal service that I had a package awaiting me. I discovered that my wonderful cousin Kory sent me a Saint Cupcakes cupcake kit (complete with 6 already baked and sealed cupcakes [vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet], 6 packs of 3 different kinds of frosting [vanilla buttercream frosting, chocolate buttercream frosting, and hot fudge forsting], and 6 baggies of 3 different kinds of sprinkles [pink sprinkles, blue/pink sprinkles, and toasted coconut.])

So I decided to invite the girls in my hall for a cupcake study break. One of my closest friends here is actually from Portland so she was overjoyed to be able to have a bit from home, she said she even catered Saint Cupcakes for her graduation party.

The cupcake I ate was a vegan red velvet (surpringly moist and delicious for a cake made without butter or milk) cake with vanilla butter cream frosting with a drizzle of hot fudge and pink/blue sprinkles.

  1. I'm so glad you enjoyed them. I almost got a pack for me, but I resisted! I loved picking out each cupcake, frosting and sprinkles though.

  3. WOW!! I think that I'm drooling. That sounds delicious. I'm guessing that the frosting was not vegan huh?
