The first half of my day was incredibly lazy, including sleeping in till 10:45 and having strawberry shortcake for breakfast/lunch, and then I perked up after 1pm or so.
Maggie and I cleaned our room so that it's not so much of a disaster zone anymore, and the picture included is of my newly arranged desk area, with a make shift book "shelf" out of a harry and david box that my mom sent my tennis shoes in. Also on my desk is the wonderful jewelry box my father made me (with my grad picture to decorate it further) as well as newly made collages and my mounted "Meg sign".
I did a fair amount of reading so that I, theoretically, shouldn't have any reading to do this week.
While my group ventured out to go on a picnic at dinner time, we ended up just eating outside The Retreat, which is the grill version of the dining hall.
Love the pics on your desk drawers. Looks like a good study area. I'm back in Oregon now, it is eerily quiet without two boys always around. Rather lonely really . . .

Your Labor Day sounds great--especially your breakfast.

Your room looks amazing - what a neat desk with lots of Alaska on and around it.
