Things

As of right now, I am waiting for my 2nd load of laundry to be done. Although I told my mom that I would never wash my sheets, after almost 3 weeks and a surprisingly amount of bread crumbs being found in my bed, I think it's about time to wash them.

I also just finished my first college essay. Well, first individual essay. My first essay was a summary of the declaration of independence but it was a group project, and I received an A- on both my group work and my individual work, which I would say is a good start.

Last night, I debated for the first time in about 4 months last, I also accidentally signed myself up to debate in on week at the Colombia Tournament, but hopefully I can just go to watch, but I guess I will just have to wait and see.

Tonight I think my friends and I might go to a comedy show, but the day is still young.

While one of my photos is pretty obvious to what it entails, the other captures my most horrifying moment at Vassar. After walking back from a Jersey Shore watching party (don't ask...) my roommate and I found the grossest bug either of us have even seen. You can't see it that well in ths picture but it had anywhere between 1-2 million legs, and it was horrible.

  1. Ohhhhh, I hope you made your roomie get that sucker (I always did, and Jon does it for me now)! Please tell me you do NOT watch Jersey Shore . . . I have a very amusing something that will be on the way to you shortly, something I'm sure you really need and have secretly been yearning for.

  2. I promise, last night was the first time I have ever watched the jersey shore. I was actually reading the Anchorage Daily News online during the show so my brain wouldn't melt from the smut.

  3. I am having trouble posting a comment - sure it is me not the program. Oh well, it is working now. I tried to get that bug off of my screen before I read the post. Sounds like other than bugs and laundry the fun just never ends!

  5. Oh, my gosh . . . an Alaskan girl who can deal with moose and bears is defeated by an east coast bug! That's a headline for sure. (Of course I run for the hills when I see a shrew.)
