Friday was the most excellent of days.
I received 2 packages today, one from my mom and one from my cousin Kory. I now have a nicely equipped arsenal of smoked salmon, chocolate covered pomegranate seeds, dried mango, dried apricot, ginger cookies, noodle soup, fruit leather, roasted nuts, and more!
All of these things are at a very good time, as my roommate and I had absolutely no food in our room for midnight (or 2am...) snacking.
I also went to my first debate meeting, and while I miss my old debate team/coaches, I think I will enjoy collegiate debate. Our first tournament is September 24th at Columbia. One really cool thing about college debate is that Vassar will pay for my travel to these schools, and the host school puts us up, and costs of food are split between Vassar and the host school. I'm very excited to do some traveling/debating across the east coast.
