Today was another not so wonderful day as far as weather goes. It was very windy in the morning, humid in the afternoon, and rainy in the evening.
Tuesdays are generally my most busiest day of the week. While I only have two classes, I also have debate and then usually article research for the newspaper.
Earlier today, I went to a question and answer session with Paul Volcker, who was chairman of the federal reserve under both Carter and Reagan, as well as being the chairman of Obama's economic recovery advisory board. This was sponsored by the economics department, and I discovered that the chair of the economics department at Vassar is also on some sort of economic advising council to Obama.
Speaking of discoveries...I found out that the vending machine in Lathrop carries Swedish Fish...which I was more than a little excited about.
Swedish fish . . . ah, going back to your grandparent's roots!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing Kory wrote--Swedish fish are a part of your heritage. You've just got to eat lots of them every day.

If you run out of fish - Huck can catch some for you!
ReplyDeleteSwedish fish sound better than economic advising ;)
ReplyDeleteTo heck with the fish, it's all I ever hear about around here! Go figure: Huck is here! You do a great POSTING every day. Ron
