This morning I woke up to go to the activities fair at Vassar. I "expressed my interest" for the Vassar Debate Society, The Miscellany News, Amnesty International, The Vassar Prison Initiative, and the Outing Club. There are tons of interesting organizations that sound great though.
I then went to the poughkeepsie galleria to meet my friend Caitlin from Juneau, who by a twist of fate, is going to school pretty near by. I bargain hunted and kept to my budget of $8.75 for the day.
I also took part in a wonderful Lathrop tradition called "Communitea" which takes place on sunday nights, where the house team provides us with hot water/tea/sugar/honey and sometimes snacks, tonight was "Classy Night" so we were provided with Hummus, crackers, and grapes...yum!
