While the sun finally came out today, I think it's just supposed to be a "sunny break" between two days of rain/thunder on both sides.
I'm not really sure where my day went, a lot of it went to my 160 pages of reading I had to do today. About 20 being on international climate change with 140 being on the Sabbath, and the jewish traditions that come with it...
Besides the sun, the other bright spot of my day was that I got my first paper back (from my Readings in U.S. History course on a biography of George Washington) and I got an A-, which is a win in my book. I did a lot of silly things that I could have fixed, such as having end notes instead of foot notes and using roman numerals in my citations as opposed to numericals...oh well! And, I got about a page of feedback from my professor on my ideas, which was pretty exciting.
On Wednesdays, my dorm has "study breaks" at around 8pm. They usually have certain themes, and tonight we had "food art" where my friends and I attempted to re-create our dorm out of marshmallows...however, it collapsed mid-tower.:(
Congratulations on the good grade! It just sounds like the fun never ends!
ReplyDeleteA's in college are always a cause for celebration! (It's probably a good thing that architecture isn't your field, though.)

Holy cow! I never got a single A+ the ENTIRE time I was at college, much less on my first paper. That is amazing.
