Weekend Wrap-Up

This weekend was pretty nice and relaxing, I'm ahead on my readings, so I mostly just hung around with my roomie and went to few campus events.

On friday night I went out to dinner with some of my friends on my floor to Bacio's, the local pizza place that stays open till 4am on weekends for Vassar students. We then went to the a cappella preview concert, which featured the numerous singing groups on campus. After this we went to the comedy preview show, which was along the same lines as the a capella show, except for with comedy/improv groups.

On Saturday, my friends and I explored poughkeepsie a bit and went to Salvation Army, where I bought a green sweater for $4.31. On saturday night, there was a showtitled "Gays of Our Lives." After the show, my friends and I hung around a bit and then went out dancing.

Today, my roomie and I went to the dollar store to get duct tape/miscellaneous objects for the "ABC Dance" (Anything But Cloth) where students have to dress in clothes that they made out of, well, anything that isn't cloth. Mine thus far consists of duct tape...and it's not going so well. However, to cheer ourselves up, Maggie and I opened up one of the jars of smoked salmon that my parents sent us.

  1. As always the pictures tell the story. The words help me understand the story. It sounds like there is never a dull moment! Enjoy!! And thanks for sharing!

  2. Oh my goodness, out to dinner, shows, dancing . . . you are turning into an east coast girl. Did you do all of it in heels?
