Yesterday it was a beautiful day, so Maggie and I grabbed lunch and then hung out on sunset hill for a while. Sunset hill is this very beautiful lake on campus that has the highest heavy metal content of any lake within 100 miles of Vassar...but it is pretty to look at! Lots of hills/bridges/tress and the like.
Afterward we went with our student fellow Laura (our equivalent of an RA) while she and another girl in our group got their ears pierced, I was considering this until I saw that it was like $25 dollars...that is crazy amount of money to charge a person for putting a hole in them.
When we got back, Laura (my now favorite person in the world) cut/layered my hair. It's quite a bit shorter, (I cant even put it all up in a pony tail now without the help of bobby pins) but I like it a lot!
