Not too much excitement to report. Yesterday I spent part of the day at the Vassar farm watching the Vassar Women's Rugby team claim the district title [29 to 12] over New Paltz! They have regionals next sunday as well.
I spent the rest of the day working on my final for my history class which is research paper about a topic related to Vassar or the surrounding area, it's not due till December 9th, but I still have a lot of work to do on it. That night, Maggie and I went to a halloween themed Communitea and had some delicious spiced cider as well as halloween cookies.
I went to the eye doctor this morning and while the cut in my eye is healed, they don't want me to wear my glasses for a couple of weeks and I still need to put the icky gook in my eyes at night (which I am none too pleased about) At least I won't have to go back to the eye doctor for three weeks though!
On a random note: my dorm has the creepiest heater of all time. It makes these very creepy-rickety sounds at precisely 6:13 every morning. For a while, I was pretty sure that it only made loud noises and didn't exude any heat...but I have recently discovered (by having our stash of candy sitting slightly too close to the heater....) that it does in fact get exceedingly hot, hot enough to melt a bag full of halloween candy in fact.
The heater is definitely an antique . . . and how great that it serves the dual purpose of providing wake up calls.

Sooo - does that mean you had to eat the candy all in one clump??
