End of weekend

This weekend felt very long/very short at the same time. On saturday, Maggie and I went to see our first production at Vassar. It was called "Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead" and it's an unauthorized parody of the continuation of the story of the Peanuts characters in their teenage years. It was extremely well done, but very sad...I'm glad I had no expectations of what it was supposed to be though, very thought provoking.

Saturday night I went to the Harvest Ball: A Vassquerade, and danced a while, and watched a performance by the ballroom dancing club. After this some of my friends and I headed over to a party off-campus, came back relatively early, drank some tea and went to bed.

  1. I heard about the peanuts thing on NPR and it did sound interesting and depressing! Glad you got to have fun at the ball! Sounds like fun times for you, maybe we will skype again soon!

  2. Meg,

I judged one (only one) regional DDF event at East Saturday because I didn't want to miss spending more time with Kory. The event was dramatic interpretation--four very sad and depressing selections. I suspected one of the four was from Chugiak--Julianna something. She was very polished and professional (actually a bit too much for me). I missed you!!
