Boston Trip

This trip to Boston was noticeably more smooth than my list trip to Boston. On Friday, I woke up earlier than I have my whole time at College (7:15am...yikes!) and about 9 hours later somehow ended up in Boston. I spent Friday afternoon/evening bumming around Harvard. I met up with my friend Dan from home and went to dinner with his roommates and then met up with my friends Victoria/Polina from Wellesley. We mostly roamed around Harvard/cambridge that night, and then I took the shuttle back to Wellesley that night.

The next morning we woke up fairly early and took the T (the subway system) into harvard square in order to go to the Harvard v. Yale football game. The streets were crowded with people, the game was supposedly sold out (in a 44,000 person capacity football stadium, which is apparently the oldest football stadium in the country), so it was kind of havoc-like in the streets. Somehow, Victoria and I found our friends Dan and David (David goes to Bates, but came down to Boston for the weekend as well) as well as some of Dan's harvard friends. We were able to move into the "student" section, and crammed in tight with a bunch of harvard students cheering very loudly/excitably for Harvard. The weather was wonderful, and Harvard won 28-21 over Yale, so a good time was had by all.

My friend Victoria had to head back right after the game to go to rehearsal for her orchestra concert, so I bummed around Harvard a bit longer with Dan and David and then took a shuttle back later that evening.

Once I got back to Wellesley I went to Victoria's concert, and then we ordered some delicious japanese food and watched a few movies with some Wellesley girls!

The rest of my weekend consisted of touring around Wellesley and then traveling back to Poughkeepsie, I was so tired after getting here around 9pm last night that I went straight to sleep!

  1. What an exciting life you are living. Your pictures and posts are amazing. I thought you should print them out and show them to your kids when they go so far away from home.
