Monday

Monday consisted of not too much reading, which was a bonus, and a few meetings. That night I went out for Sushi at one of my favorite restaurants nearby, Tokyo Express, with my Jewish Studies Class, including my Jewish Studies professor, his wife, and his two year old son. Much to my classmates delight I ordered the Alaska Roll, and it was quite yummy.

After this I went to a meeting for the Vassar prison initiative, came back to my dorm, ate some fudge that my friend had recently made, and then went to another meeting for the Lathrop wide game of Assassins. Assassins is a game where you are secretly given a "target" and you are supposed to secretly "assassinate" them (by marking them with a dry-erase marker) when no one is looking, I'm supposed to receive my "target" tonight, so I'm slightly terrified of being stalked by someone in my dorm, but it should be fun.

I also found out that I received a 93 on my international politics midterm (yay) and a B+ (not so happy about that one) on my history midterm.

  1. Assassians is awesome, I just was at a Carleton event and the person I was working with headed the program. At Carleton you could assassinate multiple ways . . . hot sauce in the food, shoot with a plastic dart, or something else I forgot. However, it does turn you into a suspicious, mistrusting person for the duration of the term.
