Thursday Night

Still no keys.

I even had to return my loaner keys this morning, and my roommate and I have worked it out to share our key this weekend, and if I don't find it by tuesday, I think I'm just going to have to buy a new set...

Even though I was key-less, I still went out and had some fun last night. Last night was the Students v. Faculty basketball game. All proceeds were to go to the 2011 class gift, even though I don't know how they made any money, as tickets were only $2 and this included snacks galore (pizza, popcorn, cookies, soda, etc) as well as the game. I tagged along with some of my friends from another dorm, and we all had a lot of fun. Two of my history professors were playing in the game, which added a new dimension to our regular class relationship.

I love basketball, and I was trying to figure out why I hadn't been to a game yet this year. Turns out, our basketball teams are all kinds of bad. By the end of fourth quarter, the score was tied 30, with the faculty looking like they were going to win. I didn't even know that was possible. However, after 5 min of overtime, the students gained 10 more pts and beat the faculty. Best part of the though, was when I got a free tshirt thrown at me by the Office of Physical Education, so excited!

After the game, I went with some friends to an Open Mic night on campus, it was pretty entertaining, but at around midnight when my friends were gonig out for pizza, I realized that I needed to go to bed.
