I still haven't found my keys, and while I have about 24 hours to find them until I have to pay +$100 (replacement of post office key is $25 dollars...) I'm already concocting plans to try to wait it out a little longer, seeing as I'm sure someone will return them at some point.
I'll go check the security desks today to see if they found anything, but I'm also waiting on an email from my dorm president saying that I lost my keys, but seeing as I emailed her yesterday morning, I kind of doubt she's going to do anything...
But, I do feel a little better. Yesterday wasn't as hectic of a day. I did have a (semi-dumb) training session for using computer sound tools, that I dont think I will even have to use on my own computer...but then I got to relax in my room for a while til my first meeting at around 8pm. I skipped pilates, which made me feel terrible, but I figured it'd wouldn't do me any good if I already felt tired and sick. Next week for sure!
Before my meeting, my roommate and I found our tea kettle and made a few cups of tea...and we realized how much tea we had. We need to drink about a cup a day till the end of the year to finish our supply!
I hope you find your keys - I always misplace mine and it drives me crazy. I find them in the strangest places. Hope you do too. I love my tea - it does a body good. Have a great day -
ReplyDeleteUgh... I hate losing stuff. Good luck finding them! I agree totally, that it is not worth going to workout if you already feel ick.

Good luck on the key front . . . I once left mine on my dining room tray and they were found in the dishwasher!

Meg,
ReplyDeleteI have another story to add to the saga of the lost keys. September two years ago at school I lost my keys. They fell off the lavaliere around my neck. (If we lose school district keys we're supposed to be reported to the superintendent and fined, etc., etc.) The school secretary covered for me and gave me loaner keys. She was sure my keys would be found.
Six months later they were turned in. A bilingual tutor had found them and stuck them in her jacket pocket. She didn't turn them in until she started wearing the same light jacket in the spring and realized my keys were jingling in the pocket. (I still have a bad attitude toward her!)
Anyway, the moral of the story is that I hope am sure yours will turn up--hopefully sooner rather rather than later.
