Snowpocalypse

The last two days, we've recceived a fair amount of snow.

We received an email a couple nights ago warning of the possibility of power outages, and if that were to occur my dorm (and about 7 other dorms) would have to go to the Walker gym to sleep for the night. On the plus side, the power never went out and I got to sleep in my bed last night.

My media studies class was also canceled yesterday, so I had an easy day of one class and one meeting in the morning.

I woke up this morning to what I thought was the sound of my roommate typing/texting on her phone/computer but it turned out to be freezing rain hitting the window. I would have given anything not to have to go outside today, but alas, both my classes are still on, and I still have a paper due in the later one. Oh, but my pilates class was canceled, because the gym is closed...which is both a bummer but also a gift.
Can't it just be spring break already? [Picture from a newspaper in poughkeepsie, this church is also within walking distance of Vassar.]

  1. I love the church sign! It is 29 here this morning but I will not complain after seeing what the weather is like else where. Enjoy the lack of classes today and do something fun.
