Busy Weekend

This weekend was fairly busy. On Friday, I went to a Teach In about the revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia, taught by multiple Vassar professors and visiting lecturers. After this, I went to a Vassar Jewish Union dinner with my friends Naomi and Emmy, and had a delicious homemade (and kosher) meal of spaghetti and brownie sundays.

After dinner, I came home ot try to work on some of my applications for summer internships, only to find that I had a nasty virus on my computer that wasn preventing me from opening any documents or getting on the internet. I angrily stopped trying to fix my computer, and went over to my friends' emmy and naomi's room for a toga night celebration. On friday night, there was a middle school, toga, dance in the college center, and it was actually a lot of fun! (Pictures from before toga night, and after toga night with all the glow in the dark paint from the dance.)

The next day, I worked on a project for Media studies and then had a friend fix my computer (yay!) and then spent the rest of the day working on my applications, before going out to get pizza with Maggie and some ther friends. After this, I went to see Vassar's production of Vagina Monologues with my friends Sarah and Mia, I was a little skeptical, but I ended up really enjoying it! I need to go to more productions this semester, everyone at Vassar is so talented.

Immediately after this, I went down the hall for a welcoming party for two new freshmen who just movedin. We then went to the Senior class's "100 nights" celebration, meaning they have 100 nights until graduation.

Still no keys, but I did have a really fun weekend!

  1. Looks like a fun weekend, hopefully just fun enough to suck it up and buy a new set of keys... grrr. I've also been to Vagina Monologues and loved it (after being very skeptical myself!)
