Spending Money

On Tuesday, Maggie and I walked around the nearby area, and found the cheapest place for manicures, and spoiled ourselves in getting our nails done. [See picture for bright red nails.] On the way back we grabbed Pizza at our favorite pizza place, and then used a gift certificate from the college to buy some ice cream. After this we did more wandering with a few friends that were still here over break, and ended up watching a few movies in my friend's dorm room.

On Wednesday, it was very food-centric. We attempted to take a bus into downtown poughkeepsie to explore, but coudln't find the bus stop (we later saw the bus driving by, about 15 minutes late) and then went on a quest to find good tacos which was very successful. After finishing my reading for international politics, we grabbed sushi and then came back to Lathrop to watch TV. At around 11pm we got hungry again, so ventured our with some friends to try the 24hr diner located about half a mile away. While writing this, I am realizing how much eating I've been doing in the last couple days, so, today...I'll try to just stay on campus.
