DONE WITH MIDTERMS!

I sent my paper in early, and I just finished my in-class essays during my Readings in U.S. History.

I had two "real" tests, one in econ last week, where I originally got 76, but was able to argue my way up to a 86:) And I realize that I missed 12 points because of really dumb math mistakes. For example, in Megland 5+4 apparently equaled 10 and 1/50 magically became 50/1. So, I knew how to do everything, I just sort of failed at the math part....but an 86 is okay for me on my first Microeconomics Test.

My other test was in my International Politics test, I think I did pretty well on it, and my confidence was multiplied when I saw that there were 5 extra credit questions (worth only about 1 point each) that I was able to do pretty well on. Thank you subscription to the Economist! So I know I was able to increase by score by about 4 points.

Yesterday, after finishing my poli sci test, I rewarded myself with a pint of chocolate ice cream. And last night, I watched part of the NY knicks v. celtics basketball game at study break while drinking a smoothie provided by my house team.

I'm very excited for tomorrow because it's the start of October Break/Vassar Debate Tournament, and I get to see my friend David who is coming to compete! It'll be nice to stay on campus at such a beautiful time of year (see pictures for proof).
