Sorry for my absense as of late, on friday I had to go pick up the rental car for our epic journey to the amherst debate tournament. And on monday, my internet was not working so my blogging capability was down.
Yes, I did drive/navigate my car of Indians/South Africans 2.5 hours to Amherst, Massachusetts. I had a cute green tank like vehicle...and I'm much more confident in my driving skills.
The tournament was pretty fun...we only won two rounds out of 5, but we went up against some pretty tough opponents. We learned a lot though. And in one round, one of our opponents was someone I vaguely knew from Alaska debate who went to West High, and the judge for that round was from Haines, Alaska. Alaska's taking over debate I suppose.
The picture is from the natural history museum (they have a mammoth...so unfair). And I'll try to bring up more pictures later...
But, I've been pretty busy...lots of reading/writing/organizing...so I'm just trying to stay sane, send good vibes my way!
