Tuesday began when I had breakfast with my friend Emily, and then took a nap before my 12pm poli sci class.
After poli sci, I grabbed some lunch of tasty indian food, and then continued to work/read.
When I came back from my media studies class, I met my friend Ethan to drive me to the rental car place so that I could get a receipt, in order to get reimbursed for the car I rented for debate two weeks ago.
After this, I dashed to this info session about an international studies class to take place next spring, which consists of a trip to Cuba! I missed most of the info session, but was able to stay for the question and answer period. I'm not sure what my chances are of making the class, as there are about 75 people who want to take it, but we'll see.
I then went to debate practice where we held elections, and I was able to withold my position of as freshmen representative (as a sophomore?) next year. I guess my position will be helping recruit new members to the team, and helping out the novices.
After that I scoped out my new room for next year, and it is quite huge. I'm excited.
Oh! And since I obviously don't have enough clothes here, I bought one of the new lathrop shirts yesterday. Cheers!

Good luck with getting into that class. Cuba would be amazing! Cheers to a bigger room next year. Does this mean that you will have your own room?? Hey, do you guys debate Yale??

Yep! My own huge single to myself...and Yale is the second best school in our type of debate, we debate (and lose) to them fairly regularly...

Even though you are a long way from home, it sounds as though you are enjoying life and good food and good friends. It doesn't get much better than that!
