Weakend

This weekend was almost the exact opposite of exciting, I had a lot of work/laziness so I didn't end up doing that much.

On friday, some friends and I took part in a scavenger hunt where we had to prove our completion with a digital camera (thus the random pictures)...and then after this from around 2-6, Maggie and I both napped from around 6 to 9pm. It was a little outrageous.

On saturday, I woke up semi early to get breakfast with a friend and work on my spanish presentation...Maggie and I then went to see the play, The House of Bernarda Alba; about spanish women living in an opressive society, it was really well done. After this, we went out to dinner (mhhm indian food) and then went to see another play, but we were so tired that we left at intermission...

The rest of the night was spent working/sleeping.

On Sunday, I went out to breakfast with my friend Jessica and then joined some friends for Easter services at the chapel. The Vassar chapel is beautiful, and the services were really eloquent. They were catholic services, so I was little confused as to what I was supposed to be doing...

After this, I received some self-actualization when I navigated myself from Vassar to West Point Military Academy without a GPS to watch the last two rounds of the nationals competition. The rounds of debate were brilliant, and West Point is sooooo pretty, the only think that could make Vassar prettier is if it was on the Hudson like West Point is.

  1. We so missed you at Easter! You weren't the only one among the missing, though. Otis and the other Meg were working and Suzan was sick. It was a small, but very Eastery gathering. Lots of eggs and other goodies were consumed!
