I just realized that this is the first time I've blogged for forever. Sorry team!
My weekend was OK, went to Swarthmore for the novice debate tournament to judge as well as guide the new freshmen. It was a tiring trip. It was supposed to take 3.5 hours to get there, and on the way down it took 5 and on the way back it took close to 4. There was a lot of stress in figuring out tournament logistics, and I'm glad it's done!
Two of our teams did really well though, winning 4 out of 5 of their prelim rounds, meaning they were REALLY close to moving onto the next level. (Out of 90 teams, only 8 could move onto the next level...so it's really tough competition at these tournaments.)
On saturday night, I came back to a freezing campus and ordered pizza with some friends and went to bed by 10:30.
While I was gone my freshmen went apple picking, and they posted the cutest pictures!
What a busy gal, but it does sound like time well spent! I missed your blog. However I am amazed at all that you get done in a week.
