While I didn't get all the work done that I wanted to, I had a pretty fun weekend.
On friday, we had a dorm event where we went apple picking at a nearby orchard. I didn't like the orchard as well as the one I went to last year, but it was a much shorter drive and still very gorgeous.
After this, I ordered indian food with a friend and re-wrote a paper for tuesday. Then I ended up skipping on the all campus party and just stayed in and watched t.v. with some friends.
On saturday, it was my friends' joint bday party and it was prom themed so we all got dressed up and went to another all campus event.
On Sunday, one of my kids was singing at the Harvest Fest; a fall themed celebration on the quad; so I went to that but it was around 80 degrees and I was melting!
Fun weekend but I'm excited for work to be done, and for my mom to be here!

ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful and the events sound like great fun and I know you're working incredibly hard. You are perfect for college. (I just wish it weren't so darn far away.)
