After a 4 hour train (that was an hour late in coming to Boston but actually was "early" for the time that we left) a taxi, a train and a shuttle...I'm back at Vassar!
Some of the highlights include: going to an apple orchard for pumkin picking, going to Rhinebeck, NY for some chelsea clinton wedding watching history, good food all the time, the Norman Rockwell museum in Stockbridge, and walking the freedom trail in Boston.
The last weekend my mom had to leave to go to her Stanford Reunion, so I stayed two nights with my friend Dan who goes to Harvard as well as my friend David who was down for the weekend from Bates because of his October break. We watched part of the Head of the Charles (the biggest rowing regatta in the world I think), and walked around Harvard and had more delicious food.
It was a good break! I'm happy to be back though.
