Tuesday

I woke up on Tuesday to more snow on the ground, and some wimpy snow still falling from the sky. The warmness of the morning created more slush, which was definitely not a good way to wake up.

But I joined my friend Emily for breakfast, and then went on to my American politics class, where I was the only one who knew who Mike Gravel was. (I think the fact that I'm from Alaska would make this achievement less impressive.)
After class I did some errands, tried to retrieve my package from the post office, but the post office was so packed that thtey couldn't find mine...so I'll have to go back today.

On the way back from my media studies class, I was talking to my mom on the phone and some random kid handed me an even more random book. Later, I looked at it and saw that it was a novel (I think?) about a Berkeley grad heading to AK to survive in the wilderness. Lots of AK references today.

Later that night I went to my first Exec board debate meeting, and we decided the schedule of tournaments for this year. We're going to NYU (next weekend), Princeton, Wesleyen, Amherst, and perhaps West Point for nationals. I'm excited for this year!

My picture today is the view from my room with all the snow!

  1. It looks so cold there. Alaska is everywhere! There are so many Alaskan TV shows on now. It is such an amazing place. Hope your day is great!

  2. It looks cold there. It is about 65 degrees and sunny in San Fran, needless to say that it doesn't feel like January!
