Room Decorations

My so-far-semi-sporadic blogging has been due to the fact that my blogspot site seems to be kind of corrupted at times, it won't show me that blogs are posted...when they sometimes are, so I was trying to fix the problem last night, and I think I did it.

Sunday wasn't too exciting of a day. I basically sat around reading all day, and then went to the first Lathrop Communitea back, which included milk and cookies, yum! After this I watched another movie with friends from my dorm, in another attempt to avoid work.

Yesterday, I did a few errands and then went to my two classes, and I think I'm in love with my History of U.S. Foreign Relations class...I learned a lot of interesting stuff about John Quincy Adams yesterday.

After class, I grabbed lunch with my friend Sarah and then retreated to my room to do the rest of the reading. I then visited with my friend Emmy and went to an early dinner that was incredibly unsatisfying, besides the chocolate chip cookies that they had!

After dinner/work, I decided to put up some more wall decorations, since the wall behind my bed felt kind of empty.

You'll notice original artwork by my extremely talented Aunt Susan and a delightful photo that I dug up of my siblings and I. And if you look closely, you can see the new pillowcase, made for me by my aunt Darlene!

  1. That is a lovely Easter hat! I love the art by Susan and the pillow-case by Darlene. We have some talent in the family!

  2. How special to have the wonderful Alaska art work by Sue. She is such an amazing woman. Also the pillow by Darlene - I have some pot holders she quilted framed and hanging on my wall. They were just too special to use. All the blogging of food makes me hungry. I better go eat. Have a great day.
