First (half) week of second semester: complete.

Thursday began with my new American politics class. The teacher seems super knowledgeable about the matter and seems really approachable, which is a good mix. The class is a fairly small class too, about 17 people, which is a departure from the rest of my (larger) classes. I think a lot of the foundational government stuff will be review, but I'm excited to learn more about the politics end of the class.

The next class I had was Approaches to Media Studies. I'm a tad unsure about this class, but I'm excited to try something new. The class is taught by a coordinator (who seems really nice), but the class is based on week long modules taught by different professors in different departments on certain "media" related subjects. At the end of these modules we will do mini-group presentatons. This class has me a bit out of my comfort zone, I'm more used to writing papers and dealing with the same teacher/same subject every day. The class is also at 3:10 to 4:25, whichi s much later than any of my other classes have been, so by the end of the class I felt really tired.

The rest of the day was spent reading, and visiting. After Dinner, I finally got my milkshake and cookie at UpC that I've been craving since I've been back. [Picture of my celebratory milkshake enclosed.]

This morning, after going to breakfast with a friend I went to spanish class, and found out that I moved from the waitlist to the list of registered students, yay for not having to take an extra history class!
