Last night, after doing more work. My group and I did our secret santa exchange.
From my friend Nick, I received a pound of Halva (it's this dense, sort of nougat-y desert made of sesame seed paste) and its apparently quite the jewish tradition in New York City. I remember having some when we went with him into the city, so it was good reminder of a fun time of this semester!
After that, we went out and played in the snow...there's a nice blanket of snow on the ground this morning, so it just makes everything look prettier!
What a great picture! Also, the nougat-like desert sounds delicious. Now, just finish up and come home!
