More Work

How did my weekend go by so fast? I didn't really accomplish that much work, although I did send in my Jewish Studies paper yesterday, and got about half of my outline done for my history paper.

Saturday night I went to my debate team's banquent at my favorite restaurant in the area, Tokyo Express. I had good sushi (which was made even better by the fact that it was free!) and had great fun with my debate team. Afterwards, some of us went to UpC (the cafe above the dining center) for smoothies/cookies for dessert. I think this week will have some gaping void in it without my usual debate team hang-outs.

Sunday I slept in, did some shopping, and then did some more work on my paper(s). At night, the college was sponsoring a free midnight breakfast in the dining center, (my friends and I went on the early end...at about 10pm) and afterwards participated in our first "Primal Scream" where everone goes out on the quad and screams at midnight the night before exams start. It was pretty carthartic, I must say. And it was followed my some fire dancing/fire hula-huping by the circus troupe on campus.

Now, I'm fortified for the rest of the week of (most likely) non-stop work.

To give you a taste of how much fun I'm not going to have writing my history paper, the picture is of all the research that I'm using for it...basically everything we've read in class this year. Oh joy.
