Sorry for my absense, this week has been a bit of a crazy one what with papers, meetings, tests, finals, and computer viruses...
I was able to get my friend from debate (a computer science major...) to help me take the virus off my computer, the virus then came back a view times...and I had to keep combatting it. I think my computer is completely healed now though.
On Wednesday, I got locked out of my room because our door knob fell off...so I had to call the office of residential life to come fix it, and it also was pouring hard/cold rain that day, that made getting around absolutely miserable. I went to my jewish studies' professor's house for my first Hanukah candle lighting, we sang songs and he ate donuts.
That night, after reading about 100 pages of talmudic reading, my roommate and I went a little crazy and completely destroyed our room, in the hopes of remodeling it, we eventually decided to go all the way, and we now have a completely new room. We felt very stifled in our messy symmetry, so decided that we needed some new, clean vibes for finals.
Last night, I went to my dorm dinner (catered, tasty, mediterrean food...yum!) and then to a lecture and a fashion show...
The rest of my plans for the weekend consist of christmas shopping/room cleaning. Our room is now set up in its final stage...but we still need to do a bit more cleaning.
I am glad you have your computer back up and running.
ReplyDeleteAh, I went to a Hanukah party last night for donuts and latkas, the 89 year old grandma directed our singing.
