Yesterday I spent most of the day doing little bits and pieces of work (trying to recover from my mad paper writing the night before) and doing other things that I needed to do. I went to an economics review session with my teacher and a few other students from the class, and I think I now understand a mathematics concept that I was having difficulty with. I then came home and wrapped my secret santa gift...(see picture, no, it's not a minature pineapple...) and then went to a meeting for Vassar Prison Iniative where we went and bought holiday gifts for our "adopted family" in the poughkeepsie area.
After this, I went straight to my Jewish Studies Professor's home for our final banquet. Everyone from the class was there, and we had a good time talking about the books that we've read this semester and eating a (surprisingly) good kosher/vegetarian meal.
Once this was finished I came home and continued to work on my other paper...7 more days, until I take my shuttle to the airport to go home!
Meg,
ReplyDeleteWe're waiting breathlessly for you! Kory comes next Thursday, you on Saturday; Ashley on Sunday and Lani the following Monday. I'm usually not one to wish away days, but I can hardly wait! Hang in there, Meg.
Aunt Toady
Today brings you one more day closer to family! Sounds like the "kids" are coming home to Alaska.
ReplyDeleteYou will make it.
