Today I figured out what books I needed to buy, and went off to the bookstore to try to snatch them up. I have a grand total of 22 books that I need this semester, and I bought most of them today, and plan to buy the rest (that I know I wont be using until much later) online at more competitive prices, with 5 books left to go (with none of them being textbooks) I spent $378, which isn't that bad considering that a few of my hall mates spent around $700, and the national average is around $1000 a year.
I also had a horrible experience at the mall (no worries though, the issue was with the transportation, not any shiftyness at the poughkeepsie galleria)and ended up buying notecards and a travel mug for my 9am class.
Classes start tomorrow for me at noon, so I'm not sure if I will be able to blog daily, or if there are interesting enough things to blog about.
