Sailing

Today's main event was the Vassar Adventures for New Students, and I was lucky enough to get my first choice of Sailing. We headed out with around 15 kids on a school bus to Vassar's docks on the Hudson. The wind was a little non existent, so we pretty much drifted in the water, but the weather was beautiful and I didn't get sun burnt!

On our way to a tex mex barbecue including square dancing, my fellow group saw a bunny, squirrel, marmot, and two deer. The square dancing was incredibly fun, and I was extremely tired afterward.

  1. Ah, a sailor in the family! Sounds like a delightful day. We just got back from Cassie's and saw Will and your parents (your mom is really missing you.)

  2. Friends and I did contra dancing in grad school - it was with a bunch of much older people and like square dancing. We went almost every week!
