Hey team. Sorry about my sporadic blogging. Papers/other stuff has been getting me down.
However, two good thngs have happend to me lately.
1. I got a job, or...internship...errm...national service position? Under americorps while working with the Youth Employment in the Park Program under the municipality of Amchorage's parks and recreation, I called back on friday to accept my position, and ask some questions, but they didnt answer...so sorry I don't have any more details. Hopefully, I still have a job!
2. The second wonderful thing was that I got a notification that I had a package waiting in shipping and receiving. I assumed that it was a package from myself that I tried to send home, but it accidentally got sent back to me (this had happend before...) I was not looking forward to my long trudge to shipping, but when I got there, I was delighted to see a package of cupcakes from my cousin Kory! My roommate and I have demolished them, (we forwent the sharing option...) and the vanilla toffee with vanilla buttercream and hot fudge was delicious! YUM.
