Yep. I've taken the last class of my freshmen year. I still have monumental amounts of work...and some review sessions. but I won't have any structured classes!
The day was actually kind of slow. I went to my political science class, then went to my history professor's office hours to beg him to let me into one of his classes in the fall...and he said that he'll see what we can do. I'm currently only registered for 4 classes, and I really want to take a 5th...but if I don't, I don't.
After this, I went and grabbed some indian food and went to distribute copies of the Chronicle; Vassar's only political journal. I was published for the first time in the issue that came out yesterday, in a piece about the importance of nuclear energy policy in America in the wake of the Japanese disaster.
My presentation in media studies went alright, people seemed pretty interested in the debate about debate that I presented for the class.
Later that night, I went to an acapella show with a few friends and grabbed a late snack before heading to bed.
It's amazing that you're almost done being a freshman--for the last time. Pat yourself on he back, Meg!
