Eye oh Eye

Yesterday I woke up with the most uncomfortable feeling in my eye, I assumed that I had scratched it, as the night before when I took my contacts out, it felt like I scratched the contact against my eye (I was imagining a sort of contact-paper cut).

After working on my history paper and taking a nap, I woke up to walk to the eye doctor who upon looking in my eye, saw that there was something stuck in it. In a terrifying procedure (OKAY, it wasn't that bad...) he pulled, what looked like, a grain of sand out of my eye. How sand got in my eye, I have no idea.

I then had to walk to Rite Aid (about a 15 minute walk) to fill my prescripton for anti-bacterial eye drops. While waiting, I decided to hop into this near by Mexican restaurant. I had some of the best tacos I have ever had in my life. It has almost taken the place of Taco King in my heart. It was also a pretty good deal too. 6 tacos for 7 bucks+chips and salsa that came for free.

After getting my prescription, I walked back to Vassar and saw my friends maggie and fernanda eating lunch, so I decided to visit with them.

There wasn't too much excitement the rest of the day, just hung around with some friends and wen to a small birthday party before heading back to Maggie and mine's room for us to watch a movie.

My picture today is of the staggering mountain of boxes that is taking over our room. I am so stressed about packing this place up, argh!

  1. It sure looks like a whole lot of packing. Will you ship it all back home or can you store some of it there? Good Luck!
