Happy Vday!

Happy Valentines everyone!

Two highlights of my monday: The first is that I started my coaching position at a local high school with another friend on the debate team, he had gone for a info session thing before, but today was our first day of coaching. There were 10 or so high school students there, and we taught them how to make an argument and we brainstormed for a sample debate topic and gave them their first research assignment for next week...we'll see how that goes.

Second highlight is that after I came back from my last class, I made valentines goody bags for my freshmen and woke up exceedingly early to put them outside their doors. And I have some left over cupcakes to bring to debate (or for me to eat....)
