Classes today were OK. My cog sci class was more interesting than I thought it would be (until I got to the boring reading...), even though it's a pretty large class (around 40 people, if none drop out.) That's still a better deal than my second class, which seems really interesting, BUT there were about 40 people who showed up and the professor will only take 27 or 28, I'm 5th on the waitlist and I need the class for my major, so hopefully I'll get in...but I don't know what the class was originally capped at, I do know that 2 people didn't show, which increases my odds. The bothersome part is that I'm right on the edge of if I will get accepted, so I'll have to continue to attend the class with about a fifty-fifty chance that I won't get in...theres only one other comparative political science class offered this semester, that I might be able to get into, but we'll see.
After class, I avoided doing work, picked up more books from the post office, went to an early dinner with friends, went to a debate movie and then watched the rest of the movie that my friends and I didn't finish yesterday.
Tried to load a picture of my friends dog-piled on a couch, but this computer is exceedingly slow, and refuses to upload photos in a timely manner...
Meg - Mom didn't have time to send your package before she left, so I sent it this morning. You should get it in a couple of days. It is still very cold here.
