I liked my Thursday classes much more than Wednesday (as well as more than I thought I would.) I had a 10:30am Democratic Theory Class, and I've heard horror stories about the professor, but she seems nice, and the class is largely discussion based and the people seemed interesting. There were only supposed to be about 8 students in the class, but the class actually had about 16...but some could drop/add. At 1:30pm I had my Colonial India course which was small, around 12 students and the professor again seems very nice. She asked us all to name one event/person that was important in India between 1757 and 1947 (or if we couldn't do that we were asked to guess a theme that would be important) and I was thankful that many other students couldn't name a single thing besides Ghandi, so we mostly stuck with themes.
I had a meeting with my boss this morning and he was "pressured" into writing a short biography of Ho Chi Minh to be used by the state department, so my next task is searching for very minute details about things that may or may not have been left out of the major work on Ho. My life is so exciting.
Picture is of the collages that my freshmen made me for christmas! Would have posted them before but my computer was/is very broken.
Oh so good to see that you and the computer are up and running! I have missed you. I can't post this but will keep trying until I can.
