I had a very good/productive weekend.
2 papers written, one application completed, and I had a pretty good time.
On Friday I went to two of my kids' shows, one of them being a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show which was a little upsetting, mostly the fact that didn't get to go to bed until 3am.
And since my friend Callie has a car for two weeks; on Saturday, I went with my friends callie and linnea to the everready diner in Hyde Park and had delicious challah french toast and cheesecake. After this we drove to Rhinebeck (where Chelsea Clinton was married a few years back) and did some shopping and went to the Beekman Arms which claims to be the oldest inn in America with an establishment date of 1766.
On Saturday I did a fair amount of work and then went to a spontaneous dance party with my friends.
What happened to your winter, there? It doesn't even look like there is enough snow for boots. On the other hand, I love the glimpses of historic places--especially the glimpses with you in them.
