A couple of weeks ago, I found out that I was selected to be a finalist for the Truman Scholarship, which gives $30,000 to college juniors for graduate school programs on the path to careers in public service. My interview is March 15th in Seattle. So at least I'll have the +9 hr flight to prepare?
I've been trying my best to prepare for my interview, and part of it involved a "glamour shoot" with my roommate serving as the photographer to find a suitable photo to be used by the Truman program if I should win.
