Touring

Two Vassar friends at Catz had other friends from Vassar who are studying abroad in the UK visiting this weekend, it was a beautiful day yesterday so we did some sight seeing.

The Radcliffe Camera, part of the Bodleian Library system. I have never actually been inside, but I hear they're pretty finicky with their books and only students are allowed to actually enter.

The University Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It's behind the Camera, and essentially the center of the university system.

  1. It all seems amazing and exotic to me--like nothing I have even imagined (even though I read lots of mysteries based in London). Thanks for sharing with Alaskans whose history of place in severely limited.
